Description
This is the Ocean Salvage, the newest member of the Ocean Fuel Oils Group fleet.

She is a self propelled barge (SPB) with a powerful lifting gantry crane. Her main focus is salvage and rescue but she can be outfitted for nearly any purpose and is a great platform for most jobs.

The ship features 3 powerful main engines and a generator system along with a good lighting system for night work including gantry lighting.

She features two deep sea diving bells for exploration and rescue work, to use them simply lower the upper railing and attach to one of the crane connectors, then lower into the sea. It works best as a two man operation currently as there are no controls in the diving bell itself as yet. I plan to refine the controls and make it all work a little better in future updates,

There is an equipment room for all your gear needs and a small medical room and sleeping quarters which will also be worked on more with future updates.

The refueling system now works also, the system works both ways and can refuel other vehicles or be used to take on extra fuel for the ship.

As usual everything is layed out and labelled so check it all before you set out and the controls take a little getting used to. Some more changes are planned to make things run a little smoother and I'm planning to add an on-board minisub for salvage work.

There's now a barge specially designed to work with the Salvage, you can find it here: https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1625603666

Credit to Xcinos for some of the hull and superstructure design.

I hope you enjoy using the Ocean Salvage and any changes or ideas, please leave them below.

Have fun and be safe on the seas!

Is the crane long enough to reach a vessel submerged in about 70m of water?
