CAS-Class Assault Carrier (1:10, Shields)

Description
The CAS-class assault carrier is a heavy capital class warship in the Covenant Navy. It is best suited to fleet command/support and vanguard attacks.

History
A powerful show of force of the Covenant's military power, the CAS assault carrier is one of the most formidable and versatile warships that the Empire can deploy. Huge, heavily armed, and well shielded, the carrier is used more like a battleship, leading attacks on high priority targets. Its shields are strong enough to allow it to ram smaller vessels, and the many energy projectors can handle all but the strongest ships. The CAS also has an expansive hangar, big enough to house escort ships or hordes of strikecraft. The carrier can also, despite its enormous bulk, hover in a planet's atmosphere and move freely to terrorize and overwhelm enemies in the air or on the ground.

Armament
Energy projectors, plasma pulse batteries, (placeholder Midnight weapons) glassing beam (press 7)

Equipment
Jump Drive, shield generator (press 8), huge hangar, command bridge, medical bays, storage, assemblers

Tactics
An expensive warship, the CAS is a valuable member of the fleet and can be used for heavy assaults, planetary glassing, troop transport, and fleet command.

C: Constituent, a versatile ship able to perform almost any task, ranging from recon, combat, troop transport, and planetary bombardment.
A: Aggression, a ship equipped to directly combat multiple enemy capital ships at once.
S: Salvation, a dedicated warship able to destroy enemies with energy projectors.

PS: This ship is huge and made using an import to get the proportions right, and itt's 218 blocks long! The hangar was modeled after the "Truth and Reconciliation's" hangar in Combat evolved and the bridge emulates the Shadow of Intent's bridge in Halo 3.

Tell me about it, I've been too burnt out to work on or publish anything over the last year or so.

yeah, I've never been like that, to me it just gets old just like putting block after block its hard :(

But for me that's my favorite part, watching it TRULY take effect like carving a statue out of a block of stone. To me it's like the finished project is in there already, I'm just trying to find it.

Ah, very true.

yeah its the smoothing of the armor with the modded blocks that's the hardest and other things.

It's actually quite easy, thankfully the toolbox is still maintained

You'd honestly be better off using an actual model of an CAS for that, such models are a lot more efficient and the export will be a bit more true to shape. If you want, go ahead, but I made this with an import as well so if you want to go even larger I'd suggest finding the same. They're not hard to find either

do you mind if i post a exported and upscaled version of this using SEtoolBox?
