Description
It's hard to use some of civilian units due to they cannot pass through other player units even they are friendly.

The only way is to make them military ones. Not all of them but these who usually travelling to distant cities.

Pro: friendly units don't block its pass and that's why it's much easier to reach distant rival city in „move to“ mode.

Contra: you need to move another military unit from the city before purchasing missionary, inquisitor or so.

For me pro is much greater than contra, so I use my mod.


Features:

  • Missionary and inqusitor now have strength 1. They require „open borders“ to move to a rival territory, so you don't need to build a wall of your units to prevent religious conversion.

  • Great Prophet are Great. Its strength is 15 (because he travelling with army of his followers) and he ignores borders as in vanilla. Borders are not the border for his holy ideas.

  • Workboat has strength 1 and it's military unit too, because in early games friendly ships frequently block narrow coast line and you cannot move your workboats to sea resourses.

  • All of them can pass through friendly units

You missed out the con that if these units are military, neutral city-states will now dislike them passing through their territory.

Yes, after some game update this issue has appeared. Don't know, how to fix it.

Okay, after using this mod, I have one MAJOR issue. I'm not sure if it was just my system or not (2012 iMac), but if I ever tried to shoot a fishing boat, my game would crash every time. Normally I would just let it go and not shoot the FB, but the enemy was using them to escort units into my territory, and I was powerless to stop them! Is this fixable?

Going to give this mod a shot. Thank you.

As a suggestion, can you try and make a mod where the prophets/missionaries are able to be put on "auto-convert"...like the AI has it? It would make playing a civ with frequent missionary spawning much more enjoyable and much less cumbersome. Thank you.

Lex.. LEX just make a mod where the can be an infinite number of units on a tile
