Description
This is a part of the Better Ships mod collection. Adds Protectorate ship hull objects and tiles that can be placed in order to seamlessly divide the ship's walls. Also adds a "Ship Console" crafting station that allows to pixel-print those parts, and also craft Protectorate ship objects like S.A.I.L. Interfaces, Storage Lockers, Fuel Hatches, Doors, etc. (The storage locker and door recipes were moved from the T2 furniture crafting table to the ship console). Ship Consoles are available for purchase with Penguin Pete.

I do not use this mod anymore... switched to BYOS.

Thanks for the reply though... when I've done this play through I'll try this mod again.

@Janothia - Sorry for the delay in response! Unfortunately, I tried it now and I don't seem to be able to replicate that. Do you have Better Ships - Walls installed? Does it happen with every instance of that door?

With this mod enabled the Academy Door (protectoratedoor) becomes invisible.

Ah! Unfortunately, they never did, actually. The protectorate ship (human) mod changes the human ship, while mine adds a separate ship, without touching the human one.

I did this to keep it as modular as possible, allowing people to enable the protactorate ship to whichever species they wish. Only detail is that it needs to enabled manually via a custom mod (I have a guide that explains how to here https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1625317607 )

I was using it with the Humans only, I have Cutebound installed but that doesn't conflict, it narrowed down to it being the Protectorate Ship (Human) and this mod. They don't seem to work together anymore. I've since seen the author has stopped working on the ship mod, so maybe that has something to do with it.

Mmmmmm I'm not sure... unfortunately it's even harder for me to check things out now than a while ago, so idk how long it'll take, but if you may, in the meantime tell me with what species did it stop working, which were you using it with, etc, what relevant mods do you have installed, etc, hopefully it could shed some light into the exact issue.

Hm. No idea why it isn't working anymore, it used to work fine but for some reason it's decided to stop. Maybe it's on the author's side.

Oh? Well, this mod is only the walls and objects without a change to the ships themselves. Even the mod that does change the ship doesn't actually do it and needs manual configuration (since the protectorate ship is special in the way it's not limited to a single species)

Do these need updating? Doesn't seem to work anymore, at least the wall background (under the tiles) aren't clear and the little computer that's normally next to the S.A.I.L. isn't there either.
