Sweet that monorail reminds me of logans run, its seems architecture has got a whole lot more boring these days in general.

I forgot that redesigned entrance to Disney California Adventure [www.tripsavvy.com] also uses the Pan Pacific Auditorium as its inspiration.

Welton Becket was one of the architects of the Pan Pacific Auditorium and he also did work for Disney. The most well known is probably the Contemporary Hotel with the monirail going through the lobbey.

I did not know about the Disney Version, I just loved the design on the Auditorium (In xanadu of course) so elegant. cheers for the comment and screenshots.

These are very nice.

So similar to the entry for Disney's Hollywood Studio park, which was based on real-world Los Angeles Pan Pacific Auditorium......which as you know, was used for the filming of the movie Zanadu before it burned down.
