DESCRIPTION
This is a very lightweight script that makes all of the Empire states which are loyal to the Emperor vassals of the Empire on turn 1 (not Marienburg, Empire rebels, or any Empire factions in the new world). Using this mod will make the Empire seem more like a unified force, while at the same time preserving the integrity of each Empire state. This works both when you are playing as the Empire or if you are playing as another faction.

The vassal states are not 100% devoted to the Emperor. If states get upset for whatever reason, and you call them to war, they will be able to decline and declare independence. Because of this, it is important to keep your vassal states happy if you are playing as Reikland, and to also try to keep your honor and integrity high because low reliability will make the states lose faith in you.

Playing as the Empire with this mod will make it feel more like you are ruling over all of these states, whereas before they really had no connection with you. I designed this with Crynsos Faction Unlocker in mind as whenever that is updated, I plan on giving the player an option on turn 1, if they are an non-Reikland Empire state, to choose if they are going to bow down to the new Emperor or declare independence. If choosing to swear fealty to the crown, you would become a vassal of the Emperor and either stay loyal, or bide your time until you are more powerful.

RECOMMENDED MODS
I recommend getting the Region Trading mod by Vanishoxyact to peacefully purchase back regions belonging to your province in case any of your vassals take them.

If playing as the Empire, to get runefang you have to ally with an Empire faction that will be your vassal with this mod. Because of that, you cannot ally with them unless you cancel the vassalage and offer the alliance. To fix this I recommend getting the Instant Quest Items Mod to get the quest item without doing the quest.

COMPATIBILITY
This mod should be compatible with everything, though I'm quite sure issues would arise when using this with Empire of Man.

It is NOT save game compatible. It will not break your save, but it will not do anything.

The Empire is vulnerable in WH3, enemies all the sides. Need a proper summoning the Elector counts! Do you plan to port this mod to WH3?

The mod works well for me, additionally, I think you should set vassals to Huntmashal (DLC) and the Grudgebringers (in OvN Lost Factions) too for full experience

Friendly Reminder: remove this mod when AI plays Empire!

Otherwise they easily kill vampires then team up with their buddy Dwarves to easily kill Skaven and Orcs, then with the respective strength of world #1 and #2, they and the Dwarves will easily spawn-camp Chaos!

Completely kills campaign experience. Unless ofc you want a challenge as Skaven, Orc, or Undead, in which case enjoy going against a whole continent with 3 provinces.

Can confirm this mod is causing a super early appearance from Chaos.

The issue is awhile back CA removed the X turns before Chaos trigger and made it solely based on Imperium, which you technically can't track. The general consensus seems to state that once you reach 30-40 settlements, that triggers Chaos. Now, I've started as Karl multiple times to test it and each time once I capture Helmgart (already capped Grunburg and Ubersreik), the next turn I received the Chaos Rising event.

I would like to point out that I do have a save where I'm on turn 40ish and no chaos rising event has occurred. BUT, that's because Manny and Vlad roflstomped Stirland and Averland, thus lowering my total settlements count. Unfortunately, I don't see any scenario where this mod doesn't have this issue since the electors being your vassal essentially means you own that land. This is probably why CA didn't make the Empire function like this in the first place.

This mod seems to cause chaos to appear super early, like turn 7 even

Hi! So I seriously love this mod. But ever since Mixu updated his Legendary Lords 1 this no longer works. I use the community launcher and it was working for a long time but then suddenly stopped. Ill help any way I can, and ive narrowed it down to the Mixu mod. Thanks!
