Roman Diadem

Description
The diadem can only be worn in the base game if you are emperor of e_byzantium. This mod makes it also work with e_roman_empire. I do not know whether this is intended or not by Paradox but to me it doesn't make sense that I can't wear the Roman Diadem after taking the decision to restore the Roman Empire.

The Imperial Diadem and the restored Roman Empire are now compatible so go ahead subscribe, like and favorite this mod and then go play.

i usually just use the "add_artifact crown_byzantine" console command when that happens
but that's not a bad idea, i'll look into it, don't expect it to happen too soon though

Yeah, Paradox again proving they don't understand Orthodoxy and the ERE were a natural development of the Roman culture throughout the ages. Thanks for this mod!

Could you also make it possible to wear it as the latin emperor? Like make it pop in the artifact inventory when the title is created after the fourth crusade and be able to wear it

"and other mod which gets rid off the imperial election system-seriously wtf was that one, Paradox?"

They seem to be trying to force a very specific version of the Roman Empire, and the Byzantine Empire, onto the player. The reality is that those empires had very dynamic cultures and governments that changed over time, ranging from strict dynastic monarchy all the way to full true republic. Instead of allowing the player to choose which Rome they want to restore, they are giving you a default, late-Classical version of the Empire with no option to change.

Sweet ^^
Thanks for the mod! I was looking for this one (and other mod which gets rid off the imperial election system-seriously wtf was that one, Paradox?!).

@thingy
what @ender just said basically
constantinus moved the capital to byzantion for good reasons
constantinus converted to christianity for good reasons
herakleios changed the official language from latin to greek for good reasons
i never restore the old capital, the hellenic religion or the official language because it just means taking a step back instead of moving forward
i thank you though for telling me Paradox' stance on it but they're wrong lmao
