I really like how everyone used to bash me here, while i actually have the smallest filesizes of all TMTK creators. And instead you now congratulate others on their 10MB+ files.
Great job, "community"

You can't really reduce the file size. This item might be able to go down to 1-2 mb but that doesn't really change anything.

The thing is that even if an item takes 1mb or 10mb that's all it will ever take on your computer. Even if you place an object in your park multiple times, that does not add up. It will just make a copy of itself and refer to the first item.

So an item that has been placed 100 times with a file size of 10mb, will still take up 10mb of space on your harddrive. And the textures etc will be stored within your vram so it can paint 100 objects as fast it paints 1.

10 MB here, 3 MB there ... the more you add to the game, the more the game gets laxer, the FPS rate goes down even further than it does anyway. Your object is beautiful, but one can model is simplier without sacrificing quality.

I'm not the best at animation versus 3d objects so I wouldn't be the best to discuss it, but if there was a way to reduce file size by resolution or quality to where there is not a big lost on texture I'm sure many would appreciate it. I'm a fan of this! I just want to know if you can shrink the file size on it, if possible. Check out Jonti's (Geekism's) latest video he discusses the issue well. There is also a forum post in the discussions. I'm in the vote of smaller items having a smaller foot print. I'm just one guy though. Its all up to you, like I said I enjoy your work either route you choose.

@jbprofessor010 There's a T-Rex for 10mb on the top of the "most downloaded" list.
This one has a slick 3.7mb, where's the issue??

The PLANCO mugs are a good example

It really is great quality. But eventually installing more and more items over 3-5mbs is going to make my computer crawl. It looks great but I can't download until it is at least 1 mb or so. Compare it to other Planco items and you will see your quality is way too good for this game lol.
