Military Crossbowmen

Description
Despite ranger crossbow being described as a standard support weapon, there is no crossbowman in any of the three nations military, even the mercenaries who supposedly use this very kind of crossbow don't use them!

This mod added crossbowmen to the Holy Nation, Shek Kingdom, United Cities, mercenary squads, and caravans. There are only a few of them in each squad but should be enough to make some impact.

Why we need crossbowmen? To add some variation in the armies. And any serious army should have proper support units instead of having everyone waving their swords around.

The crossbowmen are a bit weaker than the weakest unit in the faction, but provide ranged attack. It would make armies a bit stronger, but shouldn't have too much of an effect.

Hi, I made a patch that replaces the names ‘holy crossbowman’, ‘shek crossbowman’, ‘UC crossbowman’, ‘Mercenary crossbowman’, ‘Caravan Crossbow Guard’, and ‘Hive Worker Drone’ with names from the name library (supports mods to add new names). https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3247742129

NO. You will have to turn your tanky teammates into pin-cushions until your precision shooting gets to its 100% chance not to shoot teammates

Even though these guys are small in number, they still seem OP as they do serious damage and even one-shot my guys. It wouldn't be so bad if my guys didn't freaking stagger when trying to take them out.

So, this is the mod included in Blood and Sand that adds "faction_name crossbower" with broken stats like -74 athletics and 101 defense. Gotta remove it.

This is a must-have for those who wants a little bit of more variety than in Vanilla, also i really do recommend combining this with the Make Holy Nation Great Again mod.

every time the HN attacks, they usually have about 21 people (and at least 6 crossbows), i think its the crossbows which are making them a very efficient fighting force - they always win lol, but i dont mind as i can usually go around looting and make about 7k in items after a multifaction battle (assuming my 3 characters survive it) :)

aaa fighting these squads is irritating, but in a good way. Gives my martial artist a backline to harass! Good mod.

it's not a mod it's a mod list find it under collections, quite a good one too i'm using it now :)
