Description
Background for this mod
I was pretty disappointed to find out that once you hit the #1 on infamy rank, nothing much seem to happen. Moreover, there was nothing to do with infamy once you bought all admiral. So I toyed around a few concept and started this. The idea is that pirate are gambler, so instead of just using infamy as common currency, I used it as vouchers for gambling. I also wanted to balance the need to be #1 infamous so you wouldn't waste all infamy.

This is pretty new, tested it out a bit but I wanted to get it out there as to get your feedback on this.

Play at your own risk or if you wish to improve it further.

Summary
Infamy now has other uses. I found that infamy was rather useless so I played around different ways of using it. On the one hand, I want to be able to spend infamy. On the other hand, I want to have meaning to being the most infamous pirates. Players will then have to balance spending infamy and remaining the most infamous depending on their goal.

Mod features
Most Infamous Counter
  • Every five turns you spent being the most infamous, you gain 5% more income from Smuggler's Den
  • Every five turns you spent being the most infamous, you lose 5 diplomacy points with every faction
  • Every five turns you spent being the most infamous, you gain +1 Mourngul capacity
  • Every five turns you spent being the most infamous, you gain +1 Gunnery Wight capacity

Spending Infamy
Once per turn, you can visit the Gambler's Den in town to gamble Infamy points
  • Gamble 1000 infamy for the chance to win an item
  • Gamble 5000 infamy for the chance to win gold
  • Gamble 10000 infamy for the chance to win an army which may come with RoR units (including Queen Bess)

Be careful though, there is a possibility of negative outcome when gambling.

Future Features

The longer you are the most infamous, the greater the chance of random events occuring. Every turn, one or more of these events may occur:
  • Pirate ships flocks to your side as vassals
  • Your pirates lords may gain loyalty
  • An old Legendary Lord resurfaces and becomes rectuitable

But you're infamy comes with its own problem
  • Your vassal may cause problem with other empire
  • Pirates cove may get too much traffic and get discovered, therefore scrapping them
  • Neutral pirates horde may declare war on you

After much testing I found it is this mod that causes crashes to desktop when pressing a settlement. The additional ui freezes the game for some reason.I'm using uimf btw. Though I have some experience with db modding, I have no idea how to script. I tried updating the db tables, but they are already the latest version. I really want to use this mod again, but I don't know how. Is there any chance you will update this mod?

I was thinking of vassal the other pirates once you reached the peak infamy or by defeating all the pirates and then they magical appear as your vassals that work as a coastal guard. Recently I will find if it's possible to do, that and to put criminal inland hideouts so vampirates could be really kingpins without the necessity to take sttlements.

Hi Guys, sorry about the inconvenience. I saw in the comment section a lot of users saying not to use the mod as it caused a lot of problems. As I don't have time to test it at the moment and not wanting to cause negative issues on your gameplay, I decided to take it off for the moment. I didn't realize that it would mess your current campaign.

hey Scipion do you think you could re-upload the defeated legendary lords mod please?

Me and my friend can't load our save without it, not asking for you to update it or anything just we can finish out our campaign

Haven't tried it but as it is mostly scripted, I don't see any issues.
