Pretty cool, and good for that industrial style. I liked it well for my mixed city, but doesn't blend well with green cities or high tech.

@Fizwalker often water piping will make loud noises when faucets are closed suddenly (probably by your neighbours), this creates a shock wave that propagates through the whole system connected to that faucet or valve. For slightly different reasons it may also happen in poorly designed steam heating systems. This phenomenon is called water hammer [en.wikipedia.org].
