Hello!! This a content warning guide for killer7. I apologise if anything is too spoilerly, and feedback is welcome!!

This game has a warning at the start that it contains mature themes. None of these things are portrayed in a positive light. This game may be stylized, but it does criticize many of its themes.

Please don't complain that I'm being 'too PC' or whatever. I love this game a lot, and I just want to make sure others can enjoy it without any issue. Being warned about these things is helpful. If you don't like this then just go do something else with your time.

All cutscenes can be skipped with a hotkey.

A character is frequently shown absuing a man older than them. This includes both physical and verbal violence.

The blood in killer7 is stylized as the game is cel-shaded, but it's a core gameplay mechanic so there's a lot of it.

The Heaven Smiles (main enemy) can appear quite disturbing, as they are basically zombified humans. They have creepy grins.

An early scene in the game shows a random NPC with her back torn off.

Two characters have their heads cut open, yet they remain alive and talkative.

A villain character is murdered in a graphic way with a machine, similar to a Dangan Ronpa-type execution.

There are likely other instances in the game, too.

A villain character is known to kidnap and abuse/sexually assault young girls, whilst also harvesting their organs for trade. It is also said another character does this with young boys. Non-explicit bodies that are implied to be said children can be seen in the background in some scenes with this character.
The killer7 themselves show disgust at this characters' actions.

A recurring character is simply a head, however there is no blood or gore.

There are other moments where characters are gruesomely decapitated, however.

There is frequent swearing. There are no slurs, minus the use of 'bi**h', 'son of a bi**h', etc.

Iwazaru has his eyes stitched shut.

Some characters have blank eyes, as they are dead.

A character is shown to have three eyes.

There are enemies who are cyclops/have a single eye.

There are no visible breasts or genitalia shown, but some characters have revealing clothing, including KAEDE Smith, and a minor NPC encountered later in the game.

There are some instances where there are nude npcs, but as mentioned there are no visible parts. They are minor parts of the game and aren't directly shown.

Although not nudity per se, there are some recurring characters who wear bondage gear.

The first mission is called Angel, and features an Angel-like boss.

There are references to Heaven and Hell.

Dan Smith's nickname is the Hellion.

Several characters appear to have some type of divine power/influence.

There is a weapon known as the 'God Killer'.

In one mission, you visit a chapel.

One of the killer7, KAEDE Smith, has a special ability that causes blood to spurt from her wrists to reveal hidden areas. Most of these parts aren't skippable.

A character is shown sexually assulting an older victim who is unaware/unconscious/helpless. There is no nudity shown and the camera isn't entirely centered. The assaultist character is shown moaning. This scene is skippable with the skip scene hotkey.

During "Sunset, there's a scene where a woman's dead body is discovered, and the camera shows evidence implying she was sexually assaulted. The dead character's identity is immediately apparent, and the rest of the scene can be skipped with the hotkey.

Some characters may talk about suicide attempts.

Towards the end of the game, a minor character is shown hanging form a noose. It is not known if this was his own doing, or someone else's.

Later in the game, two characters have a game of Russian Roulette. Someone dies.

In the last chapter, a character commits suicide by placing a gun in his mouth.

The last chapter, "Smile", also features a scene where a BDSM-clad character ambiguously falls to their death. Another character appears to be coercing them.

At the end of Chapter 2, "Sunset", there is a nuclear strike. This evokes the real-life atomic bombing of Hiroshima, Japan.

In Chapter 3, there is a terrorist bombing that occurs during an early cutscene. This cutscene is important to the story. Terrorism is an overall theme of the game.
