LEVEL CAP RAISED TO 33!

Description
Level cap for player character and party members is now 33. Max power level is 23 (for purposes of Empowering etc). Please bear in mind that no power levels after 9 will be visible on the level-up screen, but they'll still affect scaling abilities etc.

Single classes gain a power level every two levels. Multiclasses gain one every three levels. This means single class characters will cap out at powerl level 17, multicass characters at 11. Multiclass characters can, in theory, now get power level 8 and 9 spells- though I'm not sure there's enough experience in the game and DLC combined to get you to power level 9!

One more change: I did away with having two weapon proficiencies at character creation; now you only get one. But then you get proficiencies every two levels, up to a possible 17 altogether. So you'll probably be fine!

From the testing I've done, this should work fine with a game in progress- if you're already level 20 it should start counting experience again for you. It may need to go lower in your load order than anything else which affects character stats or party members- for example "Aloth, new and improved" which I never play without, needs to precede this in the load order.

THIS DOESN'T REBALANCE ENEMIES! You will probably find enemies get easier as you level up! There's mods that make enemies tougher, which I don't think will clash with this one. This mod is solely for the thrill of getting xp all game long.

Yeah, I forgot about those changes when I uploaded the mod because I always take the blessing to start at level 4. It's been a while so I forget what my thinking was exactly, but I believe it was that having less ability points to start with would balance out having massively more by the end of the game. There's another version of this mod on here that just increases the level cap

This mod changes a few more things than what are stated, my druid has fewer spellcasts, starting with only 1 and my fighter less discipline starting with only 2, maybe less resources across the board i dunno.

If I wanted to raise the level cap even further, how would I do that?

Thanks for confirming! Its a great mod for playing your ideal power fantasy. Might give the purist version a try in one of my other playthroughs.

Yes this mod will take multiclass characters up to power level 9. It won't remove the lock icons on the levelup screen, but there's a mod on the nexus that does that if they bug you.

There's enough xp in the game+DLC combined to get you to level 27, and multis will hit power level 9 at I believe (sorry if my memory is rusty, it's been a while!) level 25. Also bear in mind this mod makes a couple of balance changes (listed in the description) if you just want the higher level cap then use the Purist version of this mod instead. It's around here somewhere...

Will I be able to access the locked ability tiers for multiclass characters? or will I have to pair this mod with the Multiclass unlock mod? Hope you could confirm. Thanks!
