Easy Early Sniper Rifle (Hardened Hunting Rifle)

Just a quick tip where to find a hardened hunting rifle with a long scope in the early game, without the need to fight
hard hosties like gunners, synth or supermutants. And when Sanctuary sends you to Diamand City, you'll pass by anyway.

Go to Lexington

From there go south until you find a Red Rocket Gas Station. Find your way to the roof and grab your rifle with some ammo.

You may encounter some Ghouls!

From there, go south south-east to the position of the marker.

Find the Red Rocket Station

Find your way to the roof and go to the end of it.
Grab your rifle and some ammo.

Haha, I've been playing the game since release and never found this. Thanks, I usually bite off more than I can chew in my attempt to get a hunting rifle early on - and this one comes with a long scope already, yay! :D

@Nuzzyfuts- Probably because there's multiple RR stations IN Cambridge. ;)

Plus basing the directions on Lexington makes it more useful to new players (and yes, there ARE still people out there who've only recently arrived to the Commonwealth Wastes), and returning ones who might have fuzzy memories of exactly where Cambridge is and where its borders extend.

Now if only I could have the luck to loot a HR that had a Suppressor on in the early game as well.
