Description
Mainly for private use, still very WIP but very functional. I'll post a video preview and some screenshots soon.

If you want to check it out pre-maturely, then you'll need to download the addons in this to see the weapons.

A brief WIP description for this is basically a pack of weapons that expand the base HL2 weapons and add a few extra features meant for more realistic mechanics that fit in a roleplay setting. Guns come from as early as pre-ww1 (like the mosin) to modern-day weapons used by big countries throughout the world. Examples include the AKM, M4A1, M60, AS Val, Steyr AUG, Desert Eagle, Tarus Public Defender, Milkor MGL, and much, much more.

Features include:
  • Relatively realistic recoil (actual movement of the aim, not just aim-punch)
  • Recoil recovery (after you finish firing, the point of aim will slowly lower down)
  • Bullet penetration (based on bullet caliber, material being penetrated, and amount of material penetration. Accuracy/Damage after penetration also involves these factors.)
  • FOV zoom with scope overlay, including scope shadow and blurring of peripheral vision
  • Recoil multiplier command (ehl2w_recoil_scale)
  • Damage multiplier command (ehl2w_damage_scale)

Revamped Scopes/Zoom
  • Added custom scope textures
  • Added custom reticle textures
  • Added shadow to the interior of the scope when you move or fire while scoped in
  • Added blur to peripheral vision
  • Added swaying while scoped in
  • Currently WIP, will add more accurate textures for each gun eventually
Reworked Recoil
  • Recoil is now interpolated, so it feels much smoother
  • Added recoil recovery: when you finish firing, you gun will level back out
  • Adjusted recoil algorithm
New Commands
  • Added console command multiplier for recoil: ehl2w_recoil_scale
  • Added console command multiplier for damage: ehl2w_recoil_scale
New Guns/Fixes
  • Added Civilian category, containing semi-automatic variants of existing guns with slightly modified stats
  • Added M14 and M1A, both with a scoped variant
  • Added several pistols
  • Added a single barrel shotgun
  • Added a Benelli M4 Super 90 shotgun
  • Fixed missing sounds on some guns, replaced with NMRIH, Insurgency, and Escape From Tarkov sounds that come with the addon.
Miscellaneous
  • Added idle swaying of the viewmodel

@MintMaid, no, I do not know how to fix it, I had such a problem myself, I need to install m9k weapons, because when I have all addons turned off except for these guns, such a problem will arise. Honestly I don't know what this is really related to

dude can you like fix the bug where the weapon faces 1 direction and 1 direction only?
