I'm about to push out a small update for the mod, the Hero Academia is now an Armory replacement and grants 2 culture instead of 1. It doesn't require a Barracks, but it still feels like a more balanced time in the game to obtain it. If you decided to use this mod again, let me know how the game goes!
A note about the Great Heroes, their strength does upgrade properly. They don't upgrade automatically (though I should really find out how to add that as a function), you have to upgrade them manually like you would for a normal unit. Though the cost is only 10 gold for each upgrade!
HOWEVER I think I did notice a bug or something weird with the Great Heroes, they stay at the Strength you get them and do not update their strength unlike Soul Society captans or most other UGG Civs. Which will make existing GG stronger when you get the right tech, this does not seems to, making GGs you got too early, obsolute later.
Either way, it's no problem at all! Thank you for giving my mod a try, and let me know how the game goes. I want to make sure my mods are fair and balanced, and if Nezu ends up being too good in your game I'll make the change. Having a fresh pair of eyes play the mod really helps!
But again I'll try it and get a way better idea. Thanks for looking back at it, for some, even a whole month of no updates, means they are done with their mod.
Battle able, upgrading GG are my favorite mod civ mechanic, but to gain one with basically every city you build... even if you go tall, your going to have 3-5 free GGs that are always stronger then the current melee unit in the whole game (unless and only unless you are WAY beind in tech). These could probably take out fully fortified cites on their own (the 3 or more GGs), or at least with only one ranged unit. Best look at Bleach and Sailor Moon for refrence
