I LOVE this mod, but I think you might need to tweek it a bit. There is a slight hitch in the upgrade chain; it breaks at Cossbowmen--I have to bye or build Minutemen--then the Continental Army upgrades to Infantry, by passing the Rifleman. Don't know if this was intentional, or just an oversight. It just seems odd to me.

When I upgrade from minuteman to continental army, the animation turns from a musketman to a spear and shield. Any insight or help on this? I enjoy your mods but this looks a little strange.

Anyways I would suggest that they are the same unit as Minuteman, but they add a bunch of points toward your next great general or something.... It seems more fitting.

Guildford Courhouse was a win? We had 4,500 and the Brits had 2,100 and still "beat" us. Trenton was a surprise attack. Monmouth was a victory mainlky because of military tactic by Washington, Greene, & Friends. I'm not trying to say that the Americans were not brave or anything like that, infact I believe that they were more so because they weren't properly trained. Fredrich Steuben said himself that the Americans were very poorly trained. We left Vietnam for the same reason... frustrating guerilla warfare. I agree that the continental were crutial because it gave the British something to fight, and something to distract them from occupying cities. I am saying that although they were heros, they were no match for British Regulars toe to toe.

Nitro don't listen to Natesobol. The Continental Army was crucial in keeping the Revolution going. While certainly not world beaters and certain state/colony Continental Units required a lot of kinks to be worked out, but the United States won in large part because starting towards the end of 1776 Continentals were capable of standing toe to toe against the British regulars. Look up the Continentals performance at Trenton, Princeton, Monmouth, Guilford Courthouse, etc. and tell me with a straight face that they were weak, undicipline, and not trained. The Continental Army by the time of Yorktown was a dangerous and competent army. The U.K. realized it was going to be too expensive, bloody, and messy to defeat the Continental Army. The Continental Army and Washington was the center of mass for the revolution, if it failed or was defeated in total in the field, the revolution would have collapsed. So kudos to making this unit for people to enjoy in game.
