No More Heroes - Vanilla Flagellant

Description
This is a character patch for a mod called No More Heroes. In the No More Heroes mod, you are given 1 of every class at the start of your campaign and nothing more. No new recruits will spawn and you must attempt to beat the final boss with the small roster that you have. Links to the main mod and mod variants below if you want to learn more.

Vanilla Ruleset version of the Flagellant patch.

Place this patch BELOW the 'No More Heroes - Vanilla Ruleset' mod.

He will appear via Town Event: Blood Scourge so finish a quest to make him spawn.

This mod SHOULD do the following:
  • Adds +1 to roster size
  • Makes Town Event: Blood Scourge appear sooner (week 2 at the earliest and guaranteed by week 3)
  • Removes Town Event: Blood Pilgrimage

It looks like you're still running the old version of the mod. Try unsubscribing and subscribing again to download the latest patch. To check if it's the right version go to 1546445269campaignroster and the file there should be titled "flagellant.roster.additional_variables.json". I accidentally deleted the "roster" part of the filename in the first version which prevented the mod from taking effect.
And thanks for these reports. I wouldn't have caught those issues if you didn't point them out.

I realised that I have no idea what to do with the roster. It looks like it should increase the roster by 1, but it doesn't. Shieldbreaker doesn't even have to increase the roster size for whatever reason, so I'm just confused at this point. I'll leave the rest to you, who probably knows more than I do.

I tested again and nothing worked, but I looked around in the files to see what looked wrong. I'm pretty new to coding, but I know some relative basics. I found the flagellant event would only activate at 99 dead heroes and changed that to 0 and then the event worked. I'm still unsure of what to do for the roster change, so I'll poke around a bit to see what might work. I do know that the shieldbreaker version works, so I'll look there too for what worked I suppose.

I think I found the problem and uploaded a new version. Would you mind testing it?
Just tell me if the roster size goes up and if that works, finish a quest and see if the event appears.

Tried using this mod and it didn't seem to do anything. Didn't increase roster size to 16 or give the event for the flagellant. I tried setting this mod both above and below, (I know you said to place it below) and that didn't seem to do anything either. So yeah, I guess that's my bug report.
