An oil storage tanks to store all the oil you pump out of the ground. It has 4 color variations changing the dirt/grunge/leaking. It is found in the Oil industry tab and is unlocked by a level 2 oil industry area.

@Methos: It will make more sense when you have the DLC. Basically the old versions are producing things - the oil tanks are actually extracting oil while the warehouses function as factories with Ploppable RICO. The new DLC versions are storage buildigns - the oil tanks will store oil in oil industry areas and the warehouses can store all types of resources and goods anywhere in your city.

You can use both versions together if you'd like or you can get rid of the old stuff when you get the DLC and swap to the new stuff. The new DLC versions are more true to how the buildings work in real life.

Hey, can you help me? I'm a little confused...
I see you make special versions of all of your industrial assets for Industries. I haven't got the new dlc by now but I'm planning on getting it. Are all the other industrial assets deprecated then and what exactly is different in terms of those assets?
