Decoy Counter Measure CM01-E1

Description
- Survival ready
- No mods
- No scripts



In short
The CM01-e is a countermeasure system designed by Atlantis Shipyards.
Attach the device to your ship using a connector and assign the timer block "launch CM01-e" to the ship's hotbar.

Once deployed the device will do the following:
1. detach from your ship
2. launch its self upwards
3. after a short distance stop upwards momentum and start spinning
4. explode and use the centrifugal force to scatter the decoys

Note 1: Main system can be retrieved later for re-use
Note 2: Can be constructed in survival, follow the video tutorial
Note 3: Can be modified with warheads, doing so will void your warranty

Does this build still work properly? Would love it for my frigate, but it seems to have difficulty spinning right and it spins real slow too!

I think it could be possible to integrate an hologram inside projecting the decoys, so you need an hologram on you ship for the base, then when the base is build it could project the decoy parts. Problem is the thruster need welded part to explode the decoys... but i am thinking about making a projectable version of this, or at least use yours as inspiration ! Really cool work here!

Thanks @No Signal I think the video link might have been broken the last time I tried this, works very well. Multigrid designs are always a pain to make survival ready, and they are always the most interesting :(

@uglydisease It's indeed missing the decoys on purpose. As you cannot weld multigrid blueprints in survival. Watch the video, around 1:30 it is explained how to build it!

Think my blueprint is missing the decoy blocks, I am getting the main block but not the subgrids connected to the rotors. I could add those parts my self, but I'm having trouble see what mechinism you are using to blow out the decoys.
