New American Traffic Lights

ATTENTION: This mod is now deprecated! Do not use it as a standalone mod anymore! Simply grab Cgameworld's Traffic Light Replacer mod, subscribe to this and follow the instructions on his mod. This will allow you to use the traffic signal assets from this, without any of the bugs or hassle. :)

This version has the traffic lights on the correct side of the intersection, opposite of the stop, if you want the version of the mod that has the traffic lights in the vanilla location Click here.

If you would prefer grey traffic lights over yellow, try the 'Grey Style' version if this mod here

This mod replaces the vanilla traffic lights with over 50 different variations of American style traffic lights with optional street light top. You can decide which traffic light variation you want to appear on what road types through the options menu. This allows a more realistic feel giving different size roads a different size traffic signal if the player desires.
It is fully compatible with Network Extensions.

Currently the yellow arrow signals do not operate with TMPE, but I am looking into adding this feature in the future.

NOTE: If you are having trouble figuring out which lights are which, there are two screenshots above that lay out whats what.


A game limitation w/ the lights on the proper side is T-intersections, as of right now on a T intersection a stop light won't appear for the intersecting road, this is due to another game limitation, I am also looking into a fix for this but in the meantime if it bothers you just plop down a traffic light prop for eyecandy (search NATL in FindIt)

I made this mod as a detailed prop for a city build video I am working on so I spent a lot of time on detail and texture quality.

Please realize there are over 50 assets included with this mod which contributes to it's large file size, I am working on a LITE version which will hopefully be available for download soon.

Fixed one-way streets

One-way streets now have their own drop-down. Please set them to one of the roads labeled "For medium and/or one-way roads" as those are specifically made for them

RECONFIGURE YOUR MOD NOW!! I changed a lot in the way the mod is configured, please check your options menu and try out the new options.

Added 33 new variations of slightly higher quality than the originals. The originals are still in the mod.
New options - Most roads now have their own drop-down menu, allowing for even more customization than before.
Fixed asymmetric roads & median roads now have the signal on the proper side.
Added support for the new roads included in the Industries DLC (the traffic signals for said roads now spawn correctly)
A few other changes I can't remember at the moment due to lack of sleep (will update this changelog later)

Please note: For the time being, medium roads are all hard-coded and cannot be changed. This is because each medium road both ground and elevated use a different mesh with a different pivot point to make the rotation work properly and the light to sit in a good position. After I make a couple more mirrored variations I will unlock medium roads for user customization again.

NEXT medium road w/ painted median & medium road w/ turning lane elevated & bridge traffic signals do not appear. Ground works fine (Fix soon)
NEXT small heavy roads elevated & bridge spawn the signal on both sides of the road (Limitation, working on it.)

The mod also includes 3 street-lamp top props to go with the traffic lights. To place them you need: Find It, Move It, Prop Anarchy and Prop Precision (to get them placed properly)
The 3 lamps come in the 3 different vanilla street lamp light colors (neutral, warm and cool)
