Advanced tanker "Saga II"

Description
Version 2.0 - 2019-10-02

Now that you burn fuel you might need somewhere to get it from!

The tanker "SAGA II" carries fuel, oil or water in sixteen tanks each holding 16.000 litres, in total 256.000 litres.
All tanks are connected and you can pump liquids to and from each tank, and also to the fuel tank in the engine room.

"SAGA II" can fuel ships and boats via hose or crane on either side, and helicopters on the helipad in the bow.

The crane and hose on each side and the hose on the helipad are connected to the diesel pipes, as is a connector on each side for refuelling of the tanker. To refuel another wessel, one or more of the diesel pumps must be turned on on the cargo control panel on the bridge (see "Diesel pipe pressure" dials, there need to be pressure in the pipes.)

You may also fill tanks tanks with seawater (for ballast) or eject water over the side. And finaly you can load or unload jet fuel or crude oil via connectors on each side of the ship.

(In the workshop all tanks are filled with diesel - if you need another loadout you can change or remove the "fluid spawners" in the tanks - one yellow "fluid spawner" in the roof of each tank)

Electricity is a slight problem in advanced mode, but there are three battery stacks with separate connection and charging. If main battery gets to low, connect secondary battery and/or reserve battery.
There is a separate starter battery for engine start only.
There is also an auxiliary generator driven by a separate engine you can start if power is getting low.

There are bilge pumps in three separate sections of the ship, plus in the lower decks. Make sure to close all doors in hard weather, if the lower decks gets filled with water the ship may sink...

I have not made any interior other than the bridge - feel free to add it yourself to your own needs.

Update 2018-10-05 - CHOPPER OPERATIONS
=====================================

I have made an advanced mode helicopter you can use to try out refuelling a chopper.
You find the helicopter "X-2" on my workshop or via the link to the right.
The chopper have a connector at the bottom that secures it to the helipad (button in roof).

Land the chopper on the helipad, connect the fuel-hose to it and open the valve. (It may need a bit of trying to get the connectors to attach).
Don't forget that you must first start the diesel-pump on at least one of the cargo tanks so there is pressure in the fuel pipes. You do this on the bridge.

IMPORTANT NOTE!
Battery power do not last long when connectors are attached. If you connect the helicopter to the ship - leave the engines running or attach an electric cable from the ship.
(If you connect the fuel-hose you can leave the chopper in "refuel-mode" with the engines running, then the power won't run out. Deactivate "Auto hover" and set the throttle to about 40%.)

================
Version 1.3 changes
================
- Have changed fuel connectors to "release"
- Added two cables with electric connectors to helipad so that choppers can be charged from the ship when landed.
