Description

Ladies and gentleman I present the the Vanguard class. This was a fun little class to work on and make. The main role of the class is to rush to a position and hold it down. They excel in moving around and providing a nice wall of bullets to any poor alien attempting to move past them. The class has three ability trees now and new GTS perks. Also if you are using primary secondaries the vanguard can be pretty good at dual wielding pistols.

GTS Perks:
(Lightning Aim: Gain 5 aim for each enemy you can see, up to a maximum of 10 aim.)
(Fire Training: Gain +5 Aim, +1 HP and armor.)
(Lick Your Wounds: Hunker Down restores some health when used, up to a maximum amount per mission, and removes poison, burning, and acid burning.)

Weapons:
Primary: Assault rifle, Pistols and shotguns (for those who want to feel more like a LW Assault)
Secondary: Pistol

Hunter Abilities
Squaddie: Low Profile, Run and Gun, and Total Combat

Notice
There is apparently a compatibility issue with CCP framework and extended perks be aware of this issue found by DMC32.

I have been using this mod since at least when they were called Riflemen I think it was. Love it thank you for your work on this Alpha.

@Unregistered Hypercam That is odd, no idea what could be causing that issue. Are you using any mods that add soldiers who get that rank normally?

ive been using this class for a while now, but all of a sudden my 3 vanguards can all promote to brigadier. but the perk screen doesnt go far enough. its still working fire just the "people can promote" notification wont go away.

Love this class tho

@Ceckard Cain, it is up to speed with other classes, it goes to colonel like the vanilla and hero classes. If you mean brigadier rank that is LW2 classes and I dont do LW stuff.
