Ryuki's Warfare Tweaks

Description
Become a better warrior with tweaks that boost your mobility, attack, and overall fun!

This tweak set changes a good portion of the Warfare skills, as well as All-In:

Enrage-
Removed the silencing effect. Reduced crit chance increase to 25% but added an additional flat damage increase to compensate. This should allow Enrage a bit more utility and a bonus that can be used by more classes, since not everything (casters and rogues specifically) can take advantage of the flat crit gain. Now it will be more appealing to use it as a utility and cleanse skill without feeling punished for using your utility.

Battle Stomp-
Reduced damage by 10%, reduced cooldown by one, and reduced AP cost by 1. This skill is one of the lowest damage skills, and is used 1-2 times a fight due to cooldown and need for positioning. This should allow you to engage and position around enemies before use, and to use it more often.

Battering Ram-
Reduced damage by 15%, reduced cooldown by 2, and reduced AP cost to 1. As the lowest damage warfare skill, this felt underutilized as a knock-down and positioning tool. This lower CD and AP should allow users to position a heck of a lot better and more often, making Warfare feel a bit less clunky without breaking the skill more.

Deflective Barrier-
Down to 1 cost. It’s a skill that I never used due to the lack of need for projectile deflection, but this will allow users to use the skill without feeling they’ve taken half their turn for it.

Taunt-
CD Reduced to 3, area buffed to 7 meters. This skill is completely useless if you aren’t standing RIGHT next to an enemy. This now gives you a lare AOE to pull enemies in, creating an actual tank situation, since targeting priority always goes after the characters with lowest armor/the ones they can force status effects on first.

Onslaught-
Reduced to 2 cost. This skill is a 1-and-done skill normally. You consume 2 Source, invoke a 6 turn CD, and end your turn immediately after, making you a huge target to actually be able to engage. This reduction should allow this skill to be used as more than just an opening attack or finisher, encouraging combination attacks to chain this with.

Phoenix Dive-
Now gives 1 turn fire immunity. This allows you to escape your jump area damage and gives you more entry options, allowing you to dive on pools of fire without feeling like you are going to lose a fight when you try.

Blitz-
This now will attack up to 4 enemies. This allows you to chain more interestingly and punish enemies for clustered grouping.

Shield Throw-
Damage reduced by 20%, increased targets by 1. One one or two target damage this ends up being a net loss/reduction in damage, but if you take advantage of enemy positions, you end up with a net gain of damage by 10% for hitting 3 targets.

All In-
Now does piercing damage, does 10% less damage to compensate. This should keep it a relevant skill for much longer.

I'm looking at those, though it might be a small bit of time before I have an adjustment.

I'm on a linited work schedule currently with a recent move and having trouble with uploads due to restrictions on hotel internet and a meager 50-100 kbps upload speed, but I'm doing my best to try and get something hammered out ASAP.

Like the others have said, I'm a huge fan and only Battle Stomp and Battering Ram needs tweaking to make this a permanent part of the load order.

Great mod for those of us who like pure warfare builds, thanks for your work!

@Streyg Bull horns is a polymorph skill, not a Warfare skill. These changes are intended to make secondary and tirtiary speccing at early levels not a requirement, and to allow for more versatile builds outside of the meta.

If you wish to stick with the current meta spells and builds instead, you are free to do so.

I will be posting a new version of this as soon as I get some better internet that will change things up with Battering Ram and Battle Stomp a little, but I currently only have access to about 500 Kbps internet.

You don't use battering ram for repositioning, knockdown is really strong, warrior have 2 CC at low level, we already have bull horn for reposition

BS and BR are way too good now. Knockdown is just that strong. I suggest changing it so it takes stacking 2 hits to kd if you are dropping cooldowns.

I plan on getting to all the skills eventually. The only thing keeping me from busting them out all in one day is the fact that I'm in the middle of a move and working off a floor.

Polymorph, Hydrosophist, Pyromancy, and Aerothurgy are the next few in my list of "To-Do's"

yes but movement is the only one that debuffs physical fighters to go on line with range caster ... so u hit more often with heavy damage... and thats as i resumed before is not balanced up with casters... but hey, its your choice.. ;) but what i really search is a mod that buffs casters a little bit more... i mean the damage and not a debuff of enemy resistances(this is the only one that exists allready)
