H.C.C. Morpheus

Description
Wraith Industries is proud to present our very first capital sized ship, the H.C.C. Morpheus!

Besides being really big, The H.eavy C.onstruction C.ruiser Morpheus is also full of functionality for all your construction, and mining needs.

Outfitted with a state of the art, S.A.M. automatic welding station, and six docking spots made specifically for the S.A.M.s to unload their hauls, the Morpheus is designed to make your mining operations ultra effective. While your S.A.M.s are mining all the ore that you need, the Morpheus is equipped with generous cargo holds, many refineries, and assemblers, to turn that precious ore into a fleet of ships! An antenna, and laser antenna, allow you to control your drones through your communication network.

A large construction bay, equipped with a projector, and easy to access containers, protect your builds while you work on them. Large welding ships are ideal for quick construction of small frigates and destroyers in this space.

Your crew can't work all day however, and when they rest, they can rest in their very own personal quarters. Up to 8 crew members can claim their own rooms, in two different areas of the ship. Each room has an unconnected cargo container, for holding personal goods, one connected container, and a cryopod.

One medium sized landing pad connects directly to the bridge area, allowing quick access to small fighters, scouts, or escape pods, for the pilot and crew. Six connectors are placed strategically for medium and large ships to easily connect to the Morpheus, allowing for loading, unloading, or recharging.

The cockpit is outfitted with a wide angle view, and many readouts full of important information for pilots. Also, an astromech (co-pilot) chair is available, to help monitor the ship systems, power usage, fuel levels, and connected ships.

Notes:

- Building in Survival should be possible, just going to take a lot of work, and possibly some setup on pistons/programs etc.

- LCD's powered by Automatic LCD's 2, by MMaster, and Power Graphs by Remaarn

- Nameplate LCD images for the Morpheus can be found >HERE<. If you don't want to use them, you can simply remove the LCD's near the front of the ship.

- Watching streams, I've seen a lot of issues with refining platinum quickly enough, so one refinery is set to do so more quickly. It will drain platinum only into it. The downside is that you will not get as much yield, but the S.A.M.s should provide you with quantity anyhow. Feel free to swap out the modules if you wish.

- I've noticed the Automatic LCD's will crash if you change the time of day in creative mode. It's possible that there may be other causes, but just recompile the scripts in the programable blocks nearby to restart the LCD's.

- It can handle some gravity, but will chew through hydrogen quickly. I wouldn't suggest leaving it in a gravity well.

Assembly Instructions:

- Make sure you have enough components before you press the button!
- LCD at the assembly station will only report components that are in the Large Cargo containers
- Press the button at the station, and wait. That easy!
- Once all lights are green, press the button on the S.A.M. to activate it's A.I.
- Do not press the button on the S.A.M. early, as it will reset the override on the release ions. You'll have to fix the override, or remove the S.A.M. manually after that

S.A.M. Instructions :

- S.A.M.s made possible by Keks, author of the powerful script, Path Automatic Miner
- Instructions for setting up the mining script here ---> PAM - Path Automatic Miner by Keks.

- When setting up paths foor the S.A.M.s, navigate with the cameras + remote control. You'll have to use the programmable block manually, or remote control in view of the LCD screen to apply the commands and setup the job. If it gives you trouble, you can weld on a seat temporarily if needed.

- Important! Throw 20 (total) uranium in the reactors and SAM will last a long time. Less is fine, just be sure to spread it out between the reactors.

- Charge the S.A.M. before you send it out, to reduce the risk of loosing it due to power failure

- Charging stations can be found in the belly of the ship, bay doors can be opened by an interior switch panel, or in the cockpit.

- The switch panel also controls the ability to recharge the S.A.M.s - flip a swtich to stop the S.A.M. from unloading next time that it's back to unload, which will prevent it from leaving as well, effectively allowing it to recharge.

Ok, cool

It's possible. I've not looked at his script. The SAMs are preloaded with Kek's miner script. which works pretty darn good. In fact, with recent updates, it manages battery charge better, so shouldn't have any miner's lost to power loss.

Would the SAMs work with Rdav's AI autominer script?
