Nullify Resistances - DE

Description
About this mod
Have you ever wanted to play as a Mage or Wizard with just a single school of magic? Serious problem for this kind of builds is resistance. A lot of creatures have high resistance to any specific school of magic.

This mod adds a Nullify Resistances spell. The spell allows you to reduce resistance of a specific target. This way you can safely focus on one or two schools of magic. This mod goes well with many magic/skills overhaul mods.

Nullify Resistances
This is a single target spell that reduces all resistances by 50%.
Most importantly the spell effect is not resisted by Magic nor Physical armors! It is always applied to the target.
It has 3 turns cooldown and effect is 3 turns long.
Even though the spell belongs to Polymorph school it does not require it. Any character can learn the skill.

How to get the spell
I added a trader with the skillbook [Nullify Resistances Trader]. It can be found in:
- the starting location in Fort Joy near the first teleport statue
- on the market square in Driftwood

Hi. Realise it's been a while since you made this, but thought I'd ask anyway: could you rework this mod to remove ALL resistances of the target? Or at least 150% eg Some enemies regenerate if fire magic is used on them; lowering their resistance to fire by 50% still leaves them 100% immune to fire. Thanks for your time.

So, I know it's not the point of what you're doing, but any mage that didn't have at least 5 necromancy is probably doomed to die in every fight.
Have you considered the following?
- Break Physical armor (most things that are highly resistance to elements tend to not have lots of Phys Armor.)
- Cast shackles of pain on target.
- Cast Living on the Edge (death resist)
- Set yourself on fire (or whatever element you want to use)

In a lot of cases, I usually carry around a barrel of deathfog from the start of the game for the purposes of dealing with fights I normally couldn't. Sure, you need a dip in Str, but if you're a solo character, you'll need it anyway.

Oh, I didn't know that. Cool.

Yeah if you make a completely new spell then it is possible. I am reusing existing spell which reduce all of them.

Would it be possible to make a set of nullify resistance spells that each only reduce one resistance instead of all of them?

@SILENCER thanks man, I appreciate that!

Yeah, it works great for a single-school mage! Otherwise you are kinda forced to play with all 4 schools. Thanks!

Oooh this is a great idea. Next playthrough as I currently am not running a pure mage.
