How is that redundant? I don't see this function being provided in any way in the base game, therefore it provides a new function. I for one actually want this in the base game.

Isn't that how many mods work on the workshop? People don't need or ask for something but someone makes the mod anyway because someone might want it anyway? This mod is NOT the epitome of redundant data, what is seemingly a useless mod is for those who prefer their unique tier weapons to not have the glowy bits because they may think that the glowy bits on their weapon doesn't look too good.

I mean....you can get the same skins 'without' glow, that's already a thing in game.
Those are even easier to get instead of red weapon (blue glow) skins.
(the purple ones you can even buy now)

Since this doesn't affect other peoples game I don't understand why this isn't sanctioned allready.
