Ammo Up
The game only tells you that each level of Ammo Up "expands clip size for some ammo", leaving you guessing at what exactly "some ammo" is. Here's the definite info so you can plan your build in advance.

Ammo Up +1 expands your loading capacity for the following ammo types:
  • Normal 1
  • Pierce 1
  • Spread 1
  • Sticky 1
  • Cluster 1

Ammo Up +2 expands your loading capacity for the following ammo types:
  • Normal 2
  • Pierce 2
  • Spread 2
  • Sticky 2
  • Cluster 2
  • Recover 1
  • Poison 1
  • Paralysis 1
  • Sleep 1
  • Exhaust 1

Ammo Up +3 expands your loading capacity for the following ammo types:
  • Normal 3
  • Pierce 3
  • Spread 3
  • Sticky 3
  • Cluster 3
  • Recover 2
  • Poison 2
  • Para 2
  • Sleep 2
  • Exhaust 2
  • Flaming
  • Water
  • Freeze
  • Thunder
  • Slicing
  • Demon
  • Armor
  • Tranq
Dragon and Wyvern ammo aren't affected by Ammo Up at all.

If your initial capacity for the affected ammo type is between 1 and 4, then Ammo Up will give you one additional shot. If it's 5 or more, then you will get two additional shots.

Basically it works like this: If the shot type has three levels (for example Normal or Pierce), then Ammo Up +1 will affect its Lv.1, Ammo Up +2 will affect its Lv.2 and Ammo Up +3 will affect its Lv.3.

If the shot type has two levels (for example Poison or Paralysis), then Ammo Up +2 will affect its Lv.1 and Ammo Up +3 will affect its Lv.2.

If the shot type isn't differentiated by levels (for example Fire or Slicing), then it will only be affected by Ammo Up +3. Unless it's Dragon or Wyvern - these aren't affected at all.
