Tomashavn Central Station

Description
It's a contemporary and imaginary train station with 6 tracks and a large station hall, made for my city of Tomashavn. The station is somewhat inspired by Jyväskylä Central Station (2002) in Finland.

Please note that the parking lots seen in the picture are not included in the asset!

Fine Road Anarchy mod should not be needed (anymore) to place this asset, but I still strongly recommend this mod.

I'm aware that at the moment cims just walk across the tracks. I'll try to remember to update their paths.

Background
So I needed a train station with about 6 to 8 tracks. And the station had to be contemporary. And I didn't want it to have subway station or bus station attached, so I ended up creating my own station. See also the 2-track and 4-track versions (without the station hall).

Stats
It has stats and triangles and a LOD and stuff. It actually has a bazillion sub-buildings. The construction cost and other effects are about 75 % of the multiplatform vanilla station. Cims should be able to walk through the station without boarding a train.

The station platform is 176 m (22 u) long, not including the 5 m ramps at the ends. The double-track station track between the switches is shorter than that due to certain game limits, sorry.

Please notice that the station is meant to be placed on leveled terrain. If you alter the terrain after placing the stations, some parts of it might get a bit wonky and something else might also happen.

Screenshots have been taken with Daylight classic on. The asphalt is painted with Surface Painter. VIVID LUT is used. Map theme is NotSoRocky European.

hi, this is my favorite station from the workshop

are you perhaps planning 8 track or 10 track version? i love using this for my central station, however i always have to eventually replace it with a different station as 6 tracks isn't enough

I love this station. It has become my mainstay for my city center when first integrating trains in a city for quite some time now. If you had Patreon, I'd send you beer.
It would be really awesome if you some time could really make the cims use the underpasses and overpasses from the platforms. On such a beautiful station, it just stands to so starkly as the only thing very out of place.

@Tuga_Venatus I don't use MOM myself so I can't confirm if this station functions properly as you suggested. The thing is that this station has short regular two-way tracks on both ends of station tracks which might cause some issues.

I will probably make a "better" version of this station after I finish my current project.

@ams083 i believe one of the latest updates of the "metro overhaul mod" makes it possible to change the train track to metro track, which means you can set one of the platforms of this station for metro directly from MOM options while building the station.
i have made that to the default station, putting the closest to exit platform with metro tracks at ground level, and so far metros pickup cims without issues.

ams083: I have had some thoughts on updating this asset a bit. I might make a version with a subway station, but don't expect anything too soon.
