Makes every player summon, from mods or not, permanent.



This mod can be used this standalone, or alongside Summoning Tweaks for a more customized summoning experience.

Note that totems aren't permanent, for gameplay reasons, but this could be added as an option per request.

Summoning Tweaks - Permanent Summons no longer needs to override stats to make summons permanent, allowing greater compatibility. Modded summons should now all be permanent, and any summon overhaul mods should also work and be permanent.

This is all thanks to the latest game update, which added a new scripting function to set a summon's lifetime (CharacterSetSummonLifetime).

Note
When initially summoning a summon, you may see the old lifetime duration on its portrait counting down. Despite this, it is permanent, and will remain when the countdown goes away. Summoning creatures after this should no longer show lifetime durations.

The fact that it initially shows a lifetime duration seems to be a bug with the game, but it's purely visual, and it's temporary. Enjoy!

Just a heads up this does not work with summons for the summons from the mod Deadly Skill Pack. It also does not work for one of odinblades class mods' summons, the banshee on spectre class I will test it a bit more and see what else does not stay permanent

Mod doesn't appear to work in multiplayer. Had my friend (host) download it and activate it, but none of the summons are permanent. At all.

@H8RED4U I had the same problem back then, where only the incarnation is permanent summon, nothing else. But after looking in the files a bit, I see even though the mod is subscribed and downloaded in the Steam/Steamapp/Workshop/content folder, but it was not in my Documents\Larian Studios\Divinity Original Sin 2 Definitive Edition\Mods folder. So I manually copy and paste if into my document folder and now I see the mod in my mod list and the mod works as intended.

Can you make the incarnate have the same initiative as me? It's completely pointless having a permanent incarnate running around if it goes so late in the fight....
