Description
This is a two part chamber, which employs a slightly unconventional use for the hard light bridge, by forcing it through the top of the portal.

This map should be a challenge for most players, but certainly not impossible. Many players should breeze through it, but others may get completely lost or confused, though hopefully though it is fun and enjoyable to everyone! I also took care to make it look as pretty as possible within the editor.

I think this chamber is pretty cheat proof already, but please, as always, test the heck out of it and see if you can break it for me. Alternate solutions are fine, and I'd love to know about them, but unintended solutions that people accidentally stumble upon without realising that it is the wrong way is just... wrong... so, please let me know so I can fix any problems!

Enjoy, rate and comment, and also subscribe to my other maps!!

really sorry, I should have thought to put that in the description to begin with, done now anyway. hopefully it'll help you get a few people to your map too. as for the feedback I know just how valuable it can be so I always try to say something helpful about maps, although those with lots of comments there tends to be nothing new to add :P

I'm glad you liked it, I have subscribed to your map and I look forward to playing it, I would really appreciate if you would link to mine in your description if it's not too much trouble. Thanks for all your feedback, I very much plan on getting back to making more puzzles as soon as I get a chance, and any plays and feedback only encourages me =]

in fact your map inspired me to change the lightbridge I was going to use in my latest map Every Prophet In His House for the upsidedown version

I've seen the upsidedown lightbridges used on a few maps but rarely as well as it's used here. it's nice to have the additional challenge of finding a way onto the bridge instead of just simply walking through the portal

I wasn't TOO strict with preventing you from getting on the faith plate beacuse you're right, it is fun, and doesn't break the solution (as long as the glass thing isn't too cheaty). The only place I had to be really strict was the place where the ball goes on the switch, as it was difficult to make the bouncing it in work but prevent the player from also accessing it, and it needed the funnel to be reliable and also visual to the player, so if you fall in, you will die ;P.

Thanks for the feedback, and please try the other three maps in my collection (The hub one is my second newest one and my least favourite, but I think it uses lasers in an interesting way. The other two are kind of more... proper, puzzles. I hope you like them!)

Hmm, the intended solution is indeed as you said, but I wasn't aware you could still drop onto the bridge from the glass. The surfaces up there are intenionally left white for the aesthetic, so that the player can clearly see them through the glass in the first chamber. There was a surface right below the glass that you could put a bridge and get on it from there, but I elminated that, could you maybe post a screenshot of what you mean (obviously make it private to just those with the link for spoiler purposes.)

Enjoyed your map. The concept works well and the way it starts teaches you to use that concept. I didn't find any glitches - no places you could get stuck, and you have set up the ball so that it will go where needed or disintegrate without getting stuck. There are a couple alternate ways to get to the exit, I wouldn't fix them, in fact they are fun.- I think your intended way once you get across the second room is to portal above the light bridge, drop down on to it, and then walk around up the stairs to be in position for the next light bridge. But there are several ways to get up on the glass partition in front of the ball area and then use the same light bridge position to the exit. The most fun is to get up by the ball launcher and let it fling you on to the top of the partition. So you could choose to eliminate the spot to drop down on the light bridge, but it is good the way it is!

I like this map. It's elegantly designed plus there's a moderate challenge factor. The usage of elevated bridges was an interesting technique. Good job! Can't wait to hear what u think of my map.
