Description

This vessel was designed as part of my Rapid Fleet Prototyping project. For more information on this project, please see the description of the world file, found here: https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1499175300

The Gravedigger is a pretty standard large-grid drill ship, with an easily expandable drill head. It also comes with a set of blast door “bumpers”, which serve as part of a mounting system for docking it to its parent vessel: the Mausoleum.

As part of the Rapid Fleet Prototyping Project, the Gravedigger serves as the primary late-game resource gatherer. With an easily scalable drill, a large cargo container, and decent thrust potential, it does this quite well. Not to mention that it was designed to be mounted to the end-game mobile base of this project
