I'd suggest either removing Grue from the nighttime ambush pool as Red Hook did with the basic Shambler, or providing a warning in the mod description that Grue is able to do this. This feature, far from slotting into the game seamlessly, substantially changes the way you have to play it and thus Grue, in its current form, is not a mod that can be installed lightly. If you intend on keeping this feature that's fair enough, but in that case the mod description ought to reflect this.
