Pirate Ship: Veil Reaper

Description
Blocks: 16,433 (aka: way too many)

No stats on this one as it is simply a reference to a ship of mine that i've finally managed to create in a 3D program. Funny thing is, i had to "wing it" for the lower rear and bottom of the ship as the drawing was only of the top-forward area of the ship.

Now, it's not a fully functional ship; more of a art piece than anything. But the interior is hollow and has plenty of space if anyone would like to install the needed components to make it functional. I figure, it's got too many blocks and most are small and fragile so I wouldn't personally bother using it in the game.

The Lore behind it is that it was created by Mikoso Lutania shortly after the Outcas Pirate Queen La' Amet finished work on her advanced battleship called the Yin' Yia (will be working on it at some point in time). Instead of killing off the technicians and crew that had helped create the Yin' Yia as she was asked to by La' Amet, Mikoso instead used them to help her create a highly advanced stealth grappler ship. Afterwards, she did as her friend requested and killed all those with knowledge of the two ships construction.

Equipped with large, blade-like arms to grasp hold of a ship (sides) and two impact-driven breaching arms to deploy troops inside of it (top), the Veil is designed around close-quarters combat and, with its advanced stealth field generator, can get in close before anyone knows what hit them.

Other than the arms, the Veil also has several tethered drones that fire powerful laser beams and can cover a complete 360degree field around the ship. It also has two "periscope" drones that deploy and act as they eyes and ears of the ship while it is within its stealth field (they are those two little nubs at the bottom of the ship between the large vents). And, usually the last thing the enemy sees, a single particle beam cannon possitioned at the "mouth" of the ship (let it empty so that i could fly into the thing).

Given that the ship is of a cruiser-class and despite its advanced technology, the stealth field generator and other systems generate a massive amount of heat and the need for cooling vents is a must.

Additional Notes:
This was heavily inspired by the good ole Black Widow spider. Well... Mikoso designed it to look like a beast and to scare the crap out of whoever she was attacking. The name itself came from those very very few that managed to get away.

Also, the thing would fly both forward and reverse. Mikoso's room is on the "back" of the ship, but she uses her room as a control room when she and her crew arn't preying on passing ships.

Sometimes, when she's feeling like toying with her prey, she will fly up to a civilian vessel in reverse only to flip the ship around at the last second. From the targets point of veiw, the back looks like a normal ship up until they see those claws coming their way.

Take your time, if they are anything as good as this the wait will be worth it

Lol, thanks. This is likely the curviest ship I have to put on here. Just getting the exterior done took about a solid 12+ hours over the course of about 3 days to get the thing right and tons of experimenting with the different angles and possitions of the blocks that the game has to offer.

There's only two other faction ship-types tied in with the C-1 Universe that i might try to build that have the same type of curves but I can't promise I'll get to them anytime soon. The amount of blocks used for these models make them rather impractical for in-game use and I tend to want to use them in-game XD
