Intro
This will change the shortcut function and the item selection function.

F1-F4 are shortcut menus that have 1-8 on them, this provides you 32 slots for Items, Ammo/Coatings, Special Items, Crafting, Gestures, Shoutouts, Stickers and you can also pin the SoS signal to this menu as well so you can select it instantly at the start of a mission without going through additional menus.

I am reading your comments so if you find a suggestion or something to change please let me know as I am actively updating this guide

Aug 22nd -2018 Note on Item Loadouts

Both radial menus are always active now. If you press a keyboard button assigned to a radial menu, it will open the keyboard menu. If you press the controller button, it will open the controller menu.
To assign items to the other radial menu type, during radial menu customization there should be a button prompt to switch to assigning to the other radial menu.
Setup
1. Esc
2. first menu "Items and Equipment"
3. Radial Menu
4. Change to mouse and keyboard

Shortcut display
To display the shortcuts you will need to be in an expedition or on a quest. Pressing F1-F4 will display your shortcut menus. Pressing the 1-8 number key will activate whatever is on that corresponding number.

Item Bar: Bottom Right

Hold Q - Right and Left mouse button cycles your items, E is to use
Adding/Changing the list
To change items on the list go to "Customize Radial Menu" on the "Items and Equipment" Page. From here

This will pull up a menu that displays the items on the quick select and what F key it is connected to. You can rename the shortcut by pressing the [ESC] key.

From here you can select What you would like to place on your menus. Just use your mouse key to select them. SOS flare is listed on the last tab [Other].
Item Loadouts
You can save 40 custom Item loadouts to switch between on the fly for your playstyle or specific events. To Access these go to your item chest. Once there you can see the option for [ESC] to open the menu. To save just press [SPACEBAR] on the tab you would like. This will overwrite your shortcut items for that tab so you do not have to redo your quickbar each time.

NOTE
(Keep in mind that you need to set your hotbars before you save these loadouts, hotbars are directly linked to each loadout save, if you save it prior and load after you adjusted your hotbars it will go back to what ever was saved as the loadout. This is useful for different weapons or builds as it will let you have a custom hotbar for each that applies when you switch the item loadout.)

Enjoy the game
I hope this allows thoughs of you who did not know about the feature to enjoy the game that much more.
External Software - Mouse Shortcut Key Bind
For those who do not wish to use the F1-F4 key I suggest rebinding some of your mouse keys if you have the additional software. For Razer mouse users Synapse will do this. I have changed the following on mine.

Mouse 5 - F1
Scroll up - F2
Scroll down - F3
Scroll click - F4

This has made it much smoother to access the quick select system. You can also set this up to use this profile only when the game is launched as the active windows program. So it does not bother your normal daily use. Does not always work as intented so you may have to manually switch if you intend to tab in and out of fullscreen

@DCP That's not a bug it's once you set your radial then you need to override ALL of your saved loadouts. BOTH your inventory item bag loadout saves and any equipment loadout saves as the radial is it's own thing who's layout is saved along with the other parts of the loadouts.

For those who also don't know, Radial Menu settings are saved for each item loadout. If you expect to change loadouts, be sure to register one with your radial menu.
