Description
This is the ❝​𝕎𝕒𝕣𝕔𝕣𝕪 𝔹𝕒𝕥𝕥𝕝𝕖 𝕄𝕠𝕕❝ an overhaul submod of the combat mechanics of the prestigious 𝔻𝕚𝕧𝕚𝕕𝕖 𝕖𝕥 𝕀𝕞𝕡𝕖𝕣𝕒 mod, made it to work with the latest Divide et Impera update v. 1.3.3

    Re-worked Mechanics:
  • Combat rules (kv_rules)
  • Battle entities (Mass, Speed, HP, Radious)
  • Fatigue
  • Morale
  • Projectiles
  • Unit abilities
  • Unit Spacing
  • Terrain effects

Thx mate. Yes, the mods with units are compatible, because I haven't changed any Dei units original stats

I love your mod so far mate. Makes the battles much more realistic. Dont listen to the haters. ;) Btw are dei unit mods (like roman legions or sparta units) compatible with this?

Yes, the charge is way more powerful, because this mod ain't DEI and does not try to be like DEI!

The speed of a cavalry charge, even with their wounded/dead horses immediately after an impact with the tip of your soldiers spears, that mass of humans and animals on that speed, does not disappear anywhere like magic, but will go like a punch in the front line of your soldiers, wipping and knocking them out. This is reality, not mambo-jumbo with rock paper scissors!

But as you can see, those 3 best roman cavalry units, they didn't win in the end as you stated..so "EASILY" this means that this mod does not violate ANY original DEI outcome!

The rest, just stop wasting my time. 👏

There is a reason DEI team is GOAT tier. Take this mod as a modder preference and not an upgrade to the original. AI cavalry runs head long into elite spears and or spears in formation and easily defeats them...units in formation with shields and decent armor take 50% casualties from a few missile volleys. And I wish you would detail the actual changes you made in the mod so people could make an informed decision about it. I imagine people will try this and find out it breaks DEI as DEI is designed around very specific combat styles, with a rock paper scissors mindset being very important.

Oh good to know, i already was thinking i made something wrong here. Great mod btw. mate. This feels so much better than original DEI combat. Especially the spacing of units is more realistic. The 1 thing that bothers me only a little bit is the walking animation of foot soldier. It could be a little bit smoother. Otherwise a masterpiece of a mod. :)
