Kyklades island (Astipalea wannabe)

hazard theme with daylight classic, recommend you use theme mixer and get some nice texture you like for the beaches. This is still the alpha version of the map. I thought i should share and get some constructive critisism and tips.

in the middle of the island there should be a shared civillian military airport.

Update: as of now i was able to get the height maps from terrain party so i have just finished most of the work on the actual Astipalea island (this one i eye balled it with a lot of freedom for lots of building space). So I wont work on this for some time, but i will get back to it eventually when i get better at sculpting those mountains cause i really hate how they turned out to be. I also put a lot of effort at sculpting the bottom of the sea cause with the right amount of water and sand texture all over the bottom with detailed depth features, it looks amazing when looking down from high up (i do know that aegean islands are not like atolls and usually all you see is dark blue sea a couple of hundred meters from the shore but thats the way i like it, in most maps the sand stands out too much and its a pain to make it look realistic)...i'll upload the real 1:1,something Astipalea map when im satisfied with my progress.

Update 2: Sculpting the bottom of the sea seems to have a really bad effect when looking from the land towards the sea...too bad...so i'll make it nice flat when i get the time to avoid having ships looking like theyre flying. Well thats the whole point of doing, thats learning how to make a great map.
