- removed 4 out of 8 merge blocks on the ramp (less likely to get damaged now)

The Silverfield is a small grid gunboat that has some large blocks The ship is a lot smaller than my smallest large grid capital ship, the Aries Corvette . It even fits in the bottom hangar of my Greyhold carrier (if you fly veeery carefully).

~survival ready

- It is airtight. I took the ramp of the famous Inu Shiba Corvette as a reference.
- hydrogen and ion engines
- 2x flight seat
- gravity generator
- medical station
- large block small reactor
- airtight ramp that you can open and close by pressing the buttons next to it.
- Script: Automatic LCDs v2

Thank you very much! I actually prefer the ramp on this version, too, but as with many of my ships (Europa Carrier etc), this one became more and more unstable with every SE update. I don't know how it behaves at the moment, though. :-)

I know you made a new version of this, but I just discovered this ship. Awesome design work, I'm still admiring it all. I have to say, that's one of the coolest ramp/door's I've seen! Great work!

I have a new version of the silverfield with a normal door and glass cockpit. One of my more recent uploads.

As far as I remember, the best solution was to detach the two rotors when the ramp is closed and reattach them, before opening it. You can try adding this to the timer blocks so the ship does it by itself.

the only alternative is to fiddle around and find the perfect setting for the rotor's offset value. Too much offset and the ship will drift to the one side, too few offset and it will go to the opposite side. But since the developers keep messing with the physics, I gave up updating it because it always gets ruined with future updates.

Hey I have a quick question, what was the setting you changed on the rotors to stop the constant yaw drift with the ramp closed? It seems to switch from a left yaw and right yaw whenever the door is cycled opened to closed. Thank you

@Echo Mande done. :-)

Hi! You are absolutely right about that. Updating this ship was the first thing I wanted to do after the last DLC came out but I could't find the time yet. But maybe I can update it today evening/night.

Nice ship. I think it really deserves getting the small grid control seat though.
For personal reasons I'm not a fan of supergridding and for control seats it isn't really needed any more.

Yes, this problem has to do with some alterations in the game's engine. I'm trying to fix that for weeks now. But all my ships with subgid ramps suffer bugs and explosions (Europa Carrier, Silverfield Carrier, Twinport Destroyer etc..)

I hope that Keen will fix this some day. Otherwise most of my ships with "subgrid functions" will be useless.

Nice Ship, a little annoying to build in survival but thats ok, but, when i open the ramp while docked on a station with the landing gear it allways rips apart some blocks on the back, totaly destrpying some of them.

Update: New interior, fixed a bug with the ramp, more decoration and details, less large blocks and merge blocks.
