RWI Roadlayer Mk 1 Alphonse

Description
Riverworks Interstellar returns to colony environments with the Roadlayer Mk 1, "Alphonse"!

Intended to smooth planetary surfaces to enable high speed rover travel, Alphonse is set up for autonomous operation using environmentally-friendly solar power. Carefully calibrated wheelbases allow Alphonse to skim the upper layers of terrain, creating divided highways while engineers get some much-needed sleep.

As always, Riverworks Interstellar provides its public designs free from local-system mods and custom systems. (Full vanilla build).

Been ages since I fired it up, but the idea was to turn the drills on, then use the wheel override to get it rolling slowly forward - like 0.5m/s or so. Drills scrape off the top bumpy layer of terrain, leaving you a rover-friendly road behind it.
