Some notes:
There is not "one" periodic table but varying designs depending on what you want to show. This particular table shows the elements grouped by their characteristics. Green = nonmetal; red = alkaline metal; orange = alkaline earth metal; grey = metal; purple = lanthanoid; pink = actinoid; muddy green = metaloid; blue = noble gas; white = artificial (eventhough everything up to Lawrencium (Lr) still counts as actinoid). The colorcoding of the letters themselves: red = gaseous; blue = liquid; black = solid (all at room temperature)
