Description
The Iga Sokoku Ikki, or "Iga Republic" was a kind of peasant's republic established by the ninja clans of Iga Province in 16th century Japan. During the Muromachi period, the province successfully broke out of the wider feudal system and an independent council was established by the Momochi, Hattori and Fujibayashi clans. In 1579, Oda Nobukatsu started the 'Tensho Iga Wars' by attempting to invade Iga and win favor with his father. The ninja successfully ambushed Nobukatsu's army as they attempted to establish a foothold in the province, and the invasion was resisted. Two years later, Oda Nobunaga would himself invade Iga and bring an end to the republic.

Sorry about that :steamsad: there's a lot of script-related things that become available with BNW, lots of recent mods will require it! Hope you can pick it up if it goes on sale or something

mod content still doesn't show up when trying to select a civilisation (yes I went through the mod menu and yes I've tried with other extra civilisation mods, im only having a problem with this mod.)

@tim.fukushima They aren't protected from being attacked! They can still be seen by adjacent units, or units with promotions that allow them to see through stealth.

Like this mod but even with the update my ranged units are still being attacked in terrain that should be concealing them...???

@everyone - the reported bug with city captures has been found and fixed. Applying submarine stealth promotions to melee units had the unintended effect of rendering them permanently unable to capture cities! This means Iga was only able to capture cities with units that had never entered rough terrain.

As submarine stealth is effectively hardcoded into the game, I've decided to address this issue but limiting the stealth promotions to ranged units only. Although it looks like a hard nerf on paper, please consider it a net buff since Iga will now be able to reliably capture cities :B1:

This mod is broken, i can't capture any cities, it would be much better to get the rising sun mod.

i just try to modify it, i found a masterpiece. There are things in the mod that you didnt explain in the description. Easily my favorite mod <3

Maybe the same issue: I can't capture more than one city.

I'm using some mods: Covert Operations, Civ IV Diplomatic Features and Strange Religions.
