Medical IV

Description
Adds a medical IV building for early game medical rooms. It's basically like a vitals monitor, but less effective, requires no power, and works with all bed types, including bedrolls, but not including sleeping spots. The medical IV effects can stack with the vitals monitor.

Building:
Medical IV
  • Cost - 75 Steel
  • Medical Tend Quality Offset - +2.5%
  • Immunity Gain Speed Factor - +1%
  • Surgery Success Chance Factor - +5%

Better Medical IV's:
If you want a mod with more complex medical IV's, check out Medical IV's (Drips). It has medical IV's that function similar to the real deal.

same Astral. frankly, i've tried using this mod for years but there always seems to be some issue on my end where they just don't work. i've noticed that they will link up to bedrolls but don't seem to do anything for normal beds.

i have built some of the IVs adjacent to beds, but am uncertain if they do actually do anything.
when placing the item *before placed* it sayd "not linked to a building" and once placed the description reads Tend quality, Immunity gain and Surgery Succes "inactive"...
any idea if i am doing something wrong or it is maybe not working properly?

Steel cost at 75 feels a bit high. A steel requirement of 25 would be more reasonable. Or 20 steel + 5 cloth for a bit of variety.

Have you tried the mod by itself and or the directlink version to see if it was a conflict or messed up download?

I'm having a similar issue to doman82. The item completely disappears once constructing it is completed.

Thanks for the suggestion, I just changed the patching operation and updated the mod. Hope it works with your mods it had conflicts with. =P

Your patch to add MedicalIV to the beds, replaces the entire AffectedByFacilities node. Which means attachments from other mods get wiped. Consider editing your patch so that it uses the Add operation instead of replace. Something like this: https://gist.github.com/cmdprompt/4172c5ace06ec749b08bf6ac6ec3c2a2
