Attack of the Uncooperative Drones

Introduction

This mod adds a handful of difficult drone encounters. The drones are miniature recreations of ships from the Uncooperative Survival Space Engineers stream series (featuring w4stedspace, TexFire, farrell1701). The drones were built by HybridZero and can be found at this link. Be sure to check em out, it's a great collection!


Description

There are 5 new encounters that this mod adds:

- R.C. Electric Banana
- R.C. Good Intentions
- R.C. Thugboat
- R.C. Rattler
- R.C. Fire Engine XL

The ships use the existing Cargo Ship Spawner to spawn (you'll need Cargo Ships enabled in your world settings). These ships are heavily modded and can pack quite the punch. It is recommended that you do not face these encounters early in your survival run.

The ships use a new AI that makes them much more manueverable compared to the Corruption Drones. Big thanks to Whiplash141 for the script that allows this excellent movement!


Bug Fixes

02/12/19 - Switched mod dependencies so broken thruster mod is no longer used. Thruster Flames should now be properly visible with newly added dependencies.

Took me a minute to figure it out, but this mod adds a ton of weapon mods that I don't want to your game. It would be nice if this was mentioned anywhere. I'd also enjoy a vanilla friendly version.

Unlikely. I haven't tried it in quite some time, but you can always give it a try and find out! (Some of my older stuff has been surprisingly resilient over the years)

Also one for Mexpex. Would love to use this with Weaoncore, but I do believe it's causing a crash because I leave Mexpex out.

Hi, can you please upload a version without Inspiered weaponnery integrated because these wapons are extreamly op and can bring server to lag because of there range.

Dorimanx, btw you dont need to ask permission for something like that. What you do is load the mods you want in the server first. Then you make a new mod that adds those mods as a dependency and you just edit the parts of the various xml files you need to do your customization. You just cant include copies of their assets (models, sounds, textures, code, etc) but thats not even needed because you already set it as a dependency so its available.

When you need to ask permission is when you are distributing copies of their assets in your mod.

Me and my team like to use your ship models/scripts for our server,
My idea is to create a large NPC fleet under same faction to challenge our players in battle!

In order to do so, we need to modify this mod configuration to match our need,
During tests we may have to correct some ships prefabs if they found to be somehow broken.

Our mod will be silent and not popular. but public. so our players can load it when connecting to server.

We will be happy to add you as a contributor for our mod, and point back to your original thread.
