Welcome to Mexpex Warfare Industries! Your end-all be-all of fine battleship weaponry!
Now with muzzle flashes, new sounds, REAL anti-missile, and a flak turret!
v1.1.7 now compatible with 1.190+ | Change Notes link at the top right for full changelog!

Here you can find every one of Mexpex's extraordinary weapons, now balanced and updated to new standards, sounds, and effects with fixes and improvements in an all-in-one package!

Lot's of time, effort, and science has been committed to fix one of the most critical things we hear about these beautiful guns...their BALANCE and their survival readiness.

THE BOOM BOOM

Here's the current full list of available weaponry in the pack.
They have new icons and a cleaned up G-Menu placement, amongst the balance changes.
Statistics on the new weapon behavior will be posted at a later date.

NOTE: If you have MWI weaponry on your ships already, these REPLACE them automatically!!
The only turret which will not be replaced is the MK3 AP, as now the AP is handled by loading AP ammo, not by a separate turret entry. *See AMMO

AMMO

Mexpex Warefare Industries now maintains a new standard of weapon caliburs to help maintain cohesion with the vanilla weapons and even further, real life battlecannons. Those who know their naval combat may notice a couple easter eggs.

Ammo selection and information is now handled by Ammo Management Controls by Meridius_IX
This mod has been added as a dependency and as of 1.187 dependencies are now handled by the game!

You may also still use a programmable block script like TIM to manage your ammunitions.

Raw Damage Calculations[docs.google.com]
This excel has multiple sheets but for now only the raw damage is shown while I continue to work on the updates.

It should give those curious a rough idea of the new behavior and balance, however there is no in-sheet comparison against the old values.

KNOWN ISSUES
- (1.187) Vanilla bug - Impulse from MWI weapons is very high (hardcoded and unfixable with scripts, reported to Keen) (1.190) Improved but still hardcoded
- (1.187) Realistic sounds are not working on most cannons, looking into it but it looks like it might be a problem with the audio engine. Realistic sounds are under experimental and who knows how much Keen has broken. Fixed
- Small ship Flak turret has large ship construction stages
- Small ship Flak turret conveyor can't transport ammo in survival


Notes
Due to this rebalancing, some subtypes were changed.
So while the "blocks" will be backward compatible, your ammo in survival will need to be reproduced if you are coming from the old standalone Mexpex editions.

yep there would be.
this mod is vanilla based and thus has staying incompatibilities towards wc, an example would be a nonexistent ai for the weapons even with unsupportert mod active in wc as long as wc is in the world, and it is generally recommended to not mix wc and nonwc weapons.

would there be a conflict between this mod and MW1? weaponcore doesn't like the Telion Dual / Octa Battery at all unless in unsupported mode these ones disappear
