I'd ditch the walls for the lore because Morthal is the poorest hold and is known for beiing unwalled. The mists of Morthal are it's major defense against outsiders and invaders. I'd add some extra lumber to the town because it's major source of income is the export of it's lumber. I dont' expect you to actually do any of this but it's just a hopeful dream.

A few issues with this. There's a collision issue with placing NPCs on the "fort" or the walkways on the walls. NPCs fall right through. Also, the new script for NPC-placed guards is annoying. They all return to the guard house at 7pm. Which sort of defeats the purpose of having guards... (Was also trying to place them on the walkways with console commands -- hence the collision issues).
