The Expanse - UNN Baltimore

The UNN Baltimore is a (speculative non-canon) UNN corvette design massing the same as the Tachi used by the MCRN (Veshka's Tachi on the workshop.) Although it matches the Tachi in size it lacks some of the same capabilities and luxuries. The Baltimore has no refinery, though it still has assemblers and arc furnaces, and is armed with 4 PDCs, 2 rocket launchers and 2 guided missile tubes. If you are familiar with the series, you can probably guess how I chose the name.

The ship is fully vanilla and its main propulsion is hydrogen with ion thrusters for maneuvering. It has two jump drives, redundant command centers, a few spare programmable and timer blocks and plenty of space for crew. The more intensive scripts, the floor plan and ship diagnostics, have been left off. You can turn them on according to your preference.

Originally this was an attempt to build a UNN companion to the Scipio Africanus. Unfortunately it seem that I hit at around twice what I aim when it comes to UNN ships, as this is twice the size it was meant to be. Fortunately that makes it roughly the same size as Veshka's Tachi. This design was speculative on what a UNN ship like this may be. I look forward to when I don't have to speculate as much, but in the meantime I hope you enjoy these ships.
