Description
The UNN Baltimore is a (speculative non-canon) UNN corvette design massing the same as the Tachi used by the MCRN (Veshka's Tachi on the workshop.) Although it matches the Tachi in size it lacks some of the same capabilities and luxuries. The Baltimore has no refinery, though it still has assemblers and arc furnaces, and is armed with 4 PDCs, 2 rocket launchers and 2 guided missile tubes. If you are familiar with the series, you can probably guess how I chose the name.

The ship is fully vanilla and its main propulsion is hydrogen with ion thrusters for maneuvering. It has two jump drives, redundant command centers, a few spare programmable and timer blocks and plenty of space for crew. The more intensive scripts, the floor plan and ship diagnostics, have been left off. You can turn them on according to your preference.

Originally this was an attempt to build a UNN companion to the Scipio Africanus. Unfortunately it seem that I hit at around twice what I aim when it comes to UNN ships, as this is twice the size it was meant to be. Fortunately that makes it roughly the same size as Veshka's Tachi. This design was speculative on what a UNN ship like this may be. I look forward to when I don't have to speculate as much, but in the meantime I hope you enjoy these ships.

I appreciate feedback on my ships so that I can continue improving them. One thing I've been told is that the mid section looks wimpy thin, and I intend to beef it up on the next update.

Yeah, that was largely what I based mine on because it was what I had to look at. Indeed, we all hope to see more ships in the future.

I've done one that looks kinda similar to your but with the engine sections a bit bigger, I wish they would have actually shown a bigger fleet battle in season 3 maybe in 4 with amazon budget :) Generally I want the series to show mroe MCRN and UNN ship types

Well, you didn't say when in the episode, but it wasn't hard to figure out. And yes, that's exactly where I looked. You do get better views than I've found other places, but still not a complete overview of the ships. The corvettes are still small and the "destroyers" are mostly seen from the back.

yes but as I said in season 2 episode 6 you can get some good screencaps of them fighting over ganymede

SPOILERS IF YOU HAVENT SEEN SEASON 3. Hm, I'd actually missed that there might be some good visuals of ships there, although I can tell you right now that we don't get a good look at any UNN corvettes, mainly a great view of the back of a larger ship that I believe is a destroyer or cruiser based on other visuals I've seen from the UNN fleet approaching the ring. Also, gosh darn 5 point symmetry.

I thin UNN corvettes actually show up fro like 2 seconds in season 2 episode 6, I managed to get a screencap and made a design

It is a light armor design, and it is non-canon, so it doesn't show up in the show. I wish we would see some small UNN ships, but until we do, all I can really do is speculate.
