ANYONE LOOKING FOR CONVERTING THE TESO MODELS NEED TO F U C K OFF NOW, GO FIND SOMEONE ELSE

After few years of waiting. I guess i'm the one who finally got the models working. I was dying of waiting from someone to rip or extract the models. Unfortunately there was a guy who ripped it with ninja ripper and didn't seem to publish it. However yesterday, i figured as much the game was using Granny 2 models. As ever since rad developed Granny Viewer, i managed to open it as a successful. Because the .gr2 files are raw datas and can be opened. It includes the models, bones, animations, materials, textures (Which weren't seem to be included. it was used with .dds files).

It was so difficult to extract .gr2 files without a proper support tools. So i used Teso Data Extract for .data, Granny Viewer to view the .gr2 files, GR2 Convert (The ones it has grnreader98.exe) to convert .gr2 to .smd, Open Asset Import 4.1.0 (AssImp) to convert the .smd to .dae (Because the .smd can't be open regulary, it's different because of the GR2 Convert, to use AssImp to open it and export it properly)

However, Molag Bal's model is mirrored to the other side. So i'm screwed anyways, but no big deal for this problem

That's something I have been working on too. There doesn't seem to be an index relating to what model is what, and it's annoying. Otherwise I believe I have the tools to port skeletons, geometry and textures.

How did you determine which gr2 is molag?
I am trying to batch convert and rename the models but I cannot find an index, there is en.lang.csv but it does not consistently match models.

To be honest dude, when people extracts models if they'd desire to do so. You can't easily blame them for their hard work trying to figure ways of reverse engineering files. This took me decades of trying to rip the files out of the game.

What you said later was ridiculously unpredictable. It's not my model, it's the content created by the developer from the game.

Most obvious thing about plagiarism when people try to steal my work of addons, is to be necessarily deleted immediately. So when people has to ask permission to port them so.

Why can't people port it to Garry's Mod but they can port it to other games. What if you ported it to lets just say Vrchat, what if we ported that model (The VRchat one) to Garry's Mod? Would it still apply? Could these creators of models stop being so passive agressive with people who just want their model in a different game?

Well no. The textures came with .dds when I extracted the game files. Makes it too easier thankly

@Neverstops577 so i'm assuming because you used granny viewer to get the textures, they came out correct and not dark? so it's more a byproduct of ninjaripper yeah? apologies for these questions.

Ninja Ripper gets wild. It won't rip the model's UV and yes they get darker.

The model uses it's entire texture as a single material.

If you're curious how i did it. Read. The. Description. I extracted it from it's assets
