Shocktrooper Class - WOTC

Description
The Shocktrooper is capable of advancing rapidly under fire or concealment and engaging enemies from the flanks. They trade off their secondary weapon in exchange for mobility.

The skills in the Assault tree add a unique gameplay experience. You can use dash moves to reach an exposed flank, but you are still able to return fire after that. The dash-related skills don't leave the soldier helpless and useless after the dash. In fact, the majority of his damage is done after he does a dash move. Weird, right? :)
It's fun, give it a shot. :)

The stealth tree is used as usual.

Disclaimer: This class was released very shortly after vanilla Xcom2 came out. It was an exercise at modding, so yes, it is simple, same as every other mod that came out at that time. That other Shocktrooper mod with the flamethrower came out long after mine (check the release dates). So if there is a problem with the name of the class, please talk to the other mod's author. However I doubt he looked at my mod when deciding his mod's name. The word "shocktrooper" is not copyrighted, so he can do whatever he feels like. I am also not competing with his custom skills, or trying to pretend the classes are related.

Disclaimer 2: When I made this mod 2 years ago, I was a total newb, with zero modding experience. Turned out pretty good, considering that. Please don't bash it for its simplicity. Thanks :)
(Can you tell that I'm a bit defensive? Lol. Yes, I'm a little conscious for re-releasing something so simple, but it was requested by subscribers.)

Thank you and I hope you like it. :)

@DerpMaster.USA : It should work. Sorry for the slow reply, I was in a cave for a month :)

Hi guys, thanks for the comments. Glad you like it.

@Klaus, I checked the PCS line for any typos or anythign else, and it looks fine. I can't tell what may be causing it.
Does anyone else have PCS problems?

Excellent CQC perks.

I like the simplicity of this class, and find it works really well with the vanilla classes.

Unfortunately, the class doesn't seem able to use PCS. I don't believe this is a mod conflict - I use other class mods that don't have this problem.

Hi. Thanks for reminding me about the flamethrower shocktrooper problem. I had a disclaimer on my mod back then. Just copy-pasted it here. Please see in the description why things are the way they are.

And yea it's a simple class, but I think it adds a unique gameplay experience. It uses dash moves to deal the majority of its damage. Weird, right? Maybe there's another class that does this, i don't know, i haven't seen every class out there.

Well, if you give it a shot, I hope you like it. :) I ported it over because a few people requested it :)

ah ok ok didnt play enough RPG to know that thx:)

@Asael: why? all of those perks are already available via the Sharpshooter, Specialist and Ranger.

Why i prefer the Shock Trooper with the Wrist Flamethrower. it actually has custom perks for the class, not a remix of ones we already know. not meaning to bash the mod, though, it's just it's more a "Training Roulette" thing to me than an actual new class. making it a RPGO specialization wouldn't really add anything into the mix, like, say, the Valkyrie Spec just did
