Play as Handmaiden

A mod that replaces one of the female heads, this one[imgur.com], clothing and portraits with the Handmaiden's for every class.

This mod actually has dark side transitions, and includes both versions of her robe, light and dark.

Please keep in mind that you should not use my "Play as Bastila" AND this mod at the same time, keep them as favorites but only stay subscribed to the one you're currently using to avoid conflicts.



At character creation, it should be right there!

Alternatively by editing your savegame. Appearance is: P_FEM_C_SML_01, P_FEM_C_MED_01 or P_FEM_C_LRG_01 depending on your character class, SML=consular, MED=sentinel, LRG=guardian) and the portrait is: po_pfhc01


2 ways!

By default, any normal clothing item, like this one[imgur.com] equipped on a female player character will look like the light version of the Handmaiden's robe. This is done through the modified appearance.2da file, which is fully compatible with the restoration mod. Additionally any light armor item will look like the dark version of her robe.

Alternatively you can also get both versions of her robe in their own items by typing these commands in the console "giveitem a_robe_138" for the light version and "giveitem a_robe_139" for the dark version, both without quotes. These items have 1 point of defense and 1 point of force regeneration, so it's a little better than common clothes.

Console hotkey is usually ~ but it varies depending on the language setting. To enable console add the following line on your swkotor2.ini file under the [Game Options] section "EnableCheats=1" without quotes.

One last thing, the dark version of her outfit will always show her face as dark side, so, with darker makeup and such, this is unavoidable because Handmaiden models include the head and the body together instead of separate.

PS: Known issue: The game will CTD after clicking on new game AND if you're unfortunate enough for the game to try to load Handmaiden's outfit on one of the three random female models (one for each class).

A workaround is simply trying again until you're lucky OR temporarily removing appearance.2da from the mod's folder. Unfortunately this is a bug that I cannot fix as it's hardcoded into the game. :steamsad:
